The VDO MAP 11csE chart plotter features a major innovation: engine data can now be displayed on the non-reflective 10.4“ colour monitor alongside navigation data, ensuring that all information is clearly presented at a glance in a choice of either full or split screen mode. Smart integration of the CAN bus used by engine management means that 20 key items of engine data are received automatically. Specific alarm thresholds can be set for each value, such as coolant temperature.
