VERONICA II - Public Tender for Partners
In the framework of the Project VERONICA II, to be eventually granted by the European Commission to our company, we are seeking a number of partners active in the following fields:
- Vehicle manufacturers,
- EDR/ADR manufacturers,
- Tachograph manufacturers,
- Law firm
- Federation of Member States’ authorities (Ministries of Transport, Interior, social affairs, enforcement agencies, etc…),
- Independent accident reconstruction experts in the field of ADR/EDR, tachographs, security, etc…
The project is based on the principal recommendations by the VERONICA I project and is to draft technical, legal and administrative standards and rules for possible mandatory or recommended EDR implemention in Europe.
Industrial partners should have its main R&D basis within the European Union and take an active role in UN ECE. All partners should have intensive experience with Tachograph, EDR, ADR and/or restraint systems technologies and with EC road safety policy and legislation, if possible experience also in related EC projects.
The work will consist mainly in proposing legal solutions for the implementation of EDR/ADR in certain vehicle categories, in particular by amending Regulation (EC) n° 1360/2002 and most especially its Appendixes.
The work has to be performed in English only. No interpretation or translation services will be supplied to our subcontractors during the project duration.
