RPM and speed senders are used to measure and display the RPM and speed of engines and gears.
Temperature senders are used to measure different media in connection with an electrical display unit.
Temperature switches are used to monitor the temperature of different media by making contact when a pre-defined limiting value is exceeded or not reached.
Tubular-type senders are used to measure the fuel level in connection with an electrical display unit.

Our sensors for instrumentation enable the monitoring of important data for reliable vehicle operation and long service life. Crucial readings include information on pressure, temperature and rpm, as well as speed and fuel level. Vehicle safety may be impacted and serious engine damage could occur if defined thresholds are not met or exceeded.

Lever-Type Senders

Lever-type senders are used to measure the fuel level in connection with an electrical display unit. Some senders are grounded. Senders without grounding have a separate ground connection.

The lever-type sender types in the product range include:

  • Without warning contact, insulated return
  • Without warning contact, insulated return (adjustable)
  • Without warning contact, insulated return (special)

Pressure Senders

Pressure senders are used to measure gas or fluid pressure in connection with an electrical display unit. Some senders are grounded. Senders without grounding have a separate ground connection.

Pressure senders can also be equipped with a warning contact to signal the reaching of a pressure level limit.

The pressure sender types in the product range include:

  • Without warning contact, common ground
  • With warning contact, common ground
  • Without warning contact, insulated return
  • With warning contact, insulated return

Pressure Switches

Pressure switches are used to monitor the pressure of gases and fluids by making contact when a pre-defined limiting value is exceeded or not reached. Some switches are grounded. Switches without grounding have a separate ground connection.

RPM & Special Senders

RPM and speed senders are used to measure and display the RPM and speed of engines and gears in connection with an electrical display unit. Some senders are grounded. Senders without grounding have a separate ground connection.

The RPM and speed sender types in the product range include:

  • Blocking-oscillator senders
  • Frequency-generator senders
  • Generator-type senders
  • Hall-effect senders
  • Inductive senders

Temperature Senders

Temperature senders are used to measure different media in connection with an electrical display unit. Some senders are grounded. Senders without grounding have a separate ground connection.

Temperature senders can also be equipped with a warning contact to signal the reaching of a temperature level limit.

The temperature sender types in the product range include:

  • Without warning contact, common ground or insulated return
  • With warning contact, common ground
  • With 2 measuring points
  • For bimetal indicating instruments
  • Air (VDO cockpit vision / VDO cockpit international)
  • Air (VDO LCD cockpit)

Temperature Switches

Temperature switches are used to monitor the temperature of different media by making contact when a pre-defined limiting value is exceeded or not reached. Some switches are grounded. Switches without grounding have a separate ground connection.

The temperature switch types in the product range include:

  • Type A: 1.2–3 W, common ground
  • Type B: 100/120 W, insulated return

Tubular-Type Senders

Tubular-type senders are used to measure the fuel level in connection with an electrical display unit. Some senders are grounded. Senders without grounding have a separate ground connection.

Tubular-type senders can also be equipped with a warning contact to signal the reaching of a fuel level limit (reserve) or for continual measuring.

The tubular-type sender types in the product range include:

  • Without warning contact, common ground or insulated return (ø 54 mm)
  • Without warning contact, common ground or insulated return (ø 80 mm)
  • With warning contact, common ground or insulated return (ø 54 mm)
  • Without warning contact, common ground or insulated return (special)
